High fidelity prototype in NodeJS, Angular, and Websockets.

This rapid 6 week programme looked at researching, designing and prototyping a new planning tool for AP's customers. The brief came from a need to better communicate the upcoming content AP were producing to their gold partner customers to help them plan their coverage around content available.

In the programme we conducted numerous interviews with customers, taking in a mixture of low and high fidelity prototypes. The feedback and insights gained from these interviews help inform the design as it was evolved. It was learned only through these interviews how the media type the customer used grately influenced their planning (e.g. radio vs. television).

The prototype was itterated on multiple times until a version contained a full proof of concept design to help visualise what this tool could do in market. While many of the features were simulated, this exercise helped validate many of the questions both the business and customers had about how this tool could be used.

The programme concluded with an internal presentation and technology strategy on how to deliver such an application to market. The prototype produced used real web technologies and updated live to best showcase how this would work in market, where news is consistently updated.
